Introducing F2F Support
We have two different rates for different regions, this is to reflect the expenses incurred by our team in the Bristol, Bath and Exeter areas when working . This enables us to keep offering the very best in person support despite the associated costs, by paying the team what we believe is the highest rate in the UK.
DSA Rates and Locations:
We provide SS SpLD/ASC and SM MH/ASC
- UK base flat rate is £55 per hour no VAT
(All UK remote support, all Plymouth Unis, Uni Centre Weston)
- Bath, Bristol and Exeter are £59 per hour no VAT (BIMM Bristol, UWE, Uni of Bristol, Bristol College, Bath Spa Uni, Uni of Bath, Exeter College, Uni of Exeter)
(we only provide academic support roles which are zero rated for VAT, and, our offices are on the campus, we have no need to charge VAT).
Introducing F2F Support
We are a South West based NMH provider that specialise in F2F Support. We have the capacity and expertise to provide the high-quality service you and your students deserve. When you refer F2F Support in a needs assessment, you will not have to review support looking for another provider in a few months, we can provide F2F!
A Focussed Clear Mission
Many providers are now going national, when they take on students face to face beyond their reach, it's not good for students or assessors. We cover the main Plymouth campuses: Plymouth University, Arts University Plymouth and City College Plymouth and thats all we do; we won't use our tutors in Plymouth to cover other areas extensively online, leaving us with no F2F capacity for our local area.
Our Team
All of our team have extensive experience of SM,MH/ASC and SS,SpLD/ASC as well as University level teaching and learning, the majority of the team have over 10 years DSA experience. Your students will benefit greatly from this.
As a team we believe in F2F and we continuously strive to upskill each other. We work closely as a team, and have regular sessions in person together to share practice, we don't do online coffee mornings, we do F2F.
Pre University Meetings
A support tutor is assigned to the student based on your report and a chat with the student and one of our team to assign them to a tutor we think they will like. All students are then offered an in person or online meeting with their tutor prior to going to University, something that is particularly helpful for ASC students and this allows the student the opportunity to be involved in choosing their support.
